SEMIA STEM OUTREACH

OUR STORY

OUR OBJECTIVES

We are the Regional Partner for the World Robot Olympiad in Connecticut.

As a registered non-profit organization, Semia STEM Outreach Corporation’s mission is to create STEM Learning opportunities to children between the ages of 6-19 through coding and robotics and to provide a platform for participants to compete and demonstrate their STEAM skills and love of Robotics.

We strive to inspire the next generation of STEAM professionals by organizing local robotic competitions and creating a fun environment for children to learn more about robotics.

We support the World Robot Olympiad™ dedication to:

  • Offer young people the opportunity to expand their horizons through exploration of robots and robotic systems.

  • Widen the view of young people and encourage them to be our future scientists, engineers, makers and inventors.

  • Help young people acquire 21st century skills like creative thinking, cooperation and communication.

  • Help introduce the concept of modern science into educational activities.

  • Promote robotics in STEM education worldwide.

  • Bring together young people from all over the world to measure their skills and have fun at our annual international final.
